Thirty thousand days.

Not a million days, as we might have guessed when we were kids.  Not even three hundred thousand days.  The average lifespan is only thirty thousand days — that’s a number that we can almost see in our mind’s eye.  Our lives are short and time passes quickly.

How, then, shall we live?  How shall we live, given that our nature is so temporary and our love of life is so great?  This is the theme of the ToDo Institute’s 20th anniversary celebration:

How do we savor our moments?  Fill them with meaning?  Take risks?  Stay healthy?   Make a contribution?  Cultivate loving relationships?  Build our dreams?  Cope with illness?  Become the person we truly want to be?  Join us for an extraordinary event to explore these issues and more.

The event is in honor of the ToDo Institute’s 20th anniversary.   Twenty years ago we started out with no members, no money, a small rented house, and a few wonderful people who believed in what we were doing.  Today ToDo has its own exquisite property on 12 acres in Vermont, volumes of written work, distance programs that are reaching across the globe, a certification process for professionals and a thousand people who support what we’re doing.

So we are working hard to create a memorable experience for you, one that will enhance the Time of Your Life, however many days that turns out to be.  We expect that you will discover new wisdom, develop new friendships and leave with a renewed spirit for approaching the days ahead.

Aside from the keynote presentations and workshops, we will have a haiku contest, live music, a hike at the ToDo Institute, Naikan practice, Pecha Kucha (what’s that?) and much more . . .

Please join us!  We’d love to share some time with you and celebrate our 30,000 days together.

If you cancel before June 1st you are entitled to a refund of your  registration fee less a $50 cancellation fee.
